One year ago,  I stopped overthinking and created my Poshmark account!

I started off with clothes from my personal closet and thrift finds in my size. That way if an item didn’t sell I could at least wear it.

Modeling outfits and then listing  was the mission- but I had no camera man! 😢 My sweet husband made it known that he was not going to have me bossing him around trying to get the right angles (talk about foresight)!

Sooooo I side eyed real hard (prob snapped off) and ordered a tripod with a bluetooth clicker. 😁

My 3 legged camera man arrived Superbowl Sunday! I was sooooo hype and not a dagnab thing was gonna get in my way! My 9 month old was going to have to find another milk source temporarily – because this Mama was getting in the zone!

I grabbed my outfits, slipped on my heels, and got my model on like a bizosss!

 

 

I was sooo excited to have a thing! This new adventure had nothing to do with my corporate grind, being a mom, or being a wife – it was just my own thing!

My reason for starting wasn’t to make lots of money – it was to prove that I can:

Push Beyond a Thought

I would always get excited about some idea, over-complicate, make an excuse, and then do nothing!

One step turns into two steps and snowballs into a hundred more!

• January 2017 – I made a Poshmark account
• February 2017 – I made my first listing
• March 2017 – I made my first sale! 
• & the rest… is well….too long for this blog post 🙂

The key is to:

Take the first step into the unknown and keep going until it is known!!!

Joining the Reseller Community has been amazing! I’ve made new friends, learned about clothing brands, and sold trendy thrift finds!

Living in passion and making money in the process – is possible!!!

Last year being a Reseller Stylist was a hobby – this year it is a business grind!

If you have read this far – please never give up the pursuit of finding something you love to do!

It doesn’t have to make you rich  – it just has to make you tick!

You have found passion when it consumes your thoughts, your conversations, and your actions – it is part of you!

In summary, as my five year old says:

NEVER GIVE UP!
