I don’t know about y’all, but I am ready for Spring! I spent last weekend cleaning out cabinets and closets to bring in the quickly approaching season. Operation streamline & be a wannabe minimalist was in full effect!  The winter sweaters have officially gone – BUH BYE – and the spring attire has moved right on in! You might catch me wearing a bright floral sundress and open toed neon shoes – despite lingering snow flurries. Dear Chicago weather – don’t even try it! 

It is time to Spring Forward!!!

C’mon lets jump into the flower blooming season that screams COLOR!  Aint’ no half steppin over here in these corridors – plus this concept is Bible.

Translation – if we doing the dang thang – let’s do it to the fullest – to glorify our maker!!! I set out to do that on Daylight Savings Time Sunday. To fully celebrate the losing of an hour and the gaining of more sun  I rocked a color on color on color thrifted outfit!!! It was so bright that it helped me push through the hour of sleep I missed! 🙂

This unbranded bag was thrifted for $5 and has beautiful sequin embellishments. It’s a beautiful reminder on the importance of bearing good fruit & seeking the fruits of the spirit.

 

Wrap me up in Gold, puhlease! This $6 thrift find could not be resisted. Not sure if it’s a shawl or a blanket – but i do know it’s mine –  forevaaaaa.

 

These diamond shaped teal earrings were given to me by my grandmother they stand out nicely against my top. My pink top is Max  Studio – $4 thrift find.

 

Dear ladies that wear larger shoe sizes – there is hope!  I’m kicking back in a pair of DSW shoes that I snatched off the clearance rack! We’ve got ground to cover and can do it without being forced to wear granny shoes – praise the Lord!

 

I got 5 on it – as in – $5 paid for these pants! Michael Kors, thrifted, perfect fit, bold coral, – need I say more! ❤

I spent $20 dollars on the featured thrift finds and cannot wait to uniquely pair them with other wardrobe items! I’m pretty sure I’m going to change my name to Daylight Golden Sunshine – color is an obsession!
