A Super Simple Valentine’s Day Gift for Kids

The other day it hit me that my kids have been:

True Covid Change Champs

My 8 year old is fully virtual and has been doing a great job self managing his school schedule. He also helps to shuffle his little bro along our daily schedule. My 4 year old has been a trooper. He has not seen any of his friends in almost a year – not even virtually. 😦

This is that special time of year where classrooms would be preparing for kids to exchange Valentine’s Day cards, small trinkets, and CANDY (if the school has not banned it…..ugh!). This year for most kiddos that is not happening – at least not in the way it would typically unfold.

So at the Johnson Jungle my two young kings will be getting a little something from me.

I spent about $15 in total to pull together these 2 gifts! Everything I used was found at the Target Bullseye Playground Section.

Shopping List:

  • 2 Red Mailboxes (superrrr cayute) – $1 each
  • 1 Pack of Valentine’s Day Stickers – $1
  • 2 Bundles of Candy  – $1 each
  • 2 Nightlights – $3 each
  • 1 Pack of Stamp Favors – $1
  • 1 Pack of Cars – $1
