This evening I was looking through my Kindergartner’s papers. In his pile was a cute:

He was given a sheet of paper with 2 triangles on it and challenged to create a picture incorporating those shapes.

The page description was:

Think Outside The Box

I asked him what his friends drew and he said that most did a bow tie. The Mama Bear in me was impressed by where his mind went with the challenge. 

He drew a:

Cute Cat

His Big Brother and I couldn’t let him have all the fun! So we recreated the challenge and gave it a go ourselves. It really pushed us to get creative and think outside of the box!!! It was harder than I expected.
