In my youth, I attended the annual:
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Luncheon
on MLK Day. It was a time of great refreshing where members of the community would encourage each other to continue working toward equality. Community Leaders delivered moving speeches and singers skillfully brought the house down.

Children are often asked the question:
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Adults are often asked the question:
Where do you want to be five years from now?
I do not like these questions. At least not as standalone questions. These questions are great for getting an idea of a person’s vision, but should be followed up by questions that help us pinpoint ones inner values.
